And time after time, God doesn't just proclaim His faithfulness; He displays it.
The ultimate display of God's faithfulness was in the fulfillment of the promise in Isaiah 7:14. If we fast forward to Matthew 1:22-23, we see ultimately that God was promising something new.
This was not just another display of power, not just another act to help out His people. This promise was about God Himself coming to rescue His people and to be with them forever.
God doesn't just want you to trust blindly that He is faithful. He has proven His faithfulness in Jesus Christ. Look to Him!
In all circumstances, no matter what we go through, no matter how chaotic and difficult life may be, the faithfulness of God has been proven once and for all. He will not abandon you. He will not leave you. He is working, and you can trust that He is faithful.
When we look to Bethlehem, when we look to Calvary, we see this glorious certainty: "He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)
