Gospel community is the life that followers of Jesus are saved into. It is the way that believers live out their new identity in Jesus together. At Hope City a gospel community 8-12 adults (plus children) that commit to live as a family of missionary servants sent to make disciples who make disciples. They grow together, love one another deeply and authentically, and serve those who don't know Christ intentionally.
Gospel community isn't about events as much as it's about identity. This is who we are in Jesus, so it isn't just an item on our schedule. Each gospel community has certain rhythms they have agreed to live in as a group. Typically, each group will have a weekly meal involving a spiritual focus (study, discussion, prayer, etc). Along with that, each group lives intentionally to serve and bless each other throughout the week in real relationship. Living as family is about living real life. Some of that is organized, and some of that is organic.
